    if i shouldn't squat............???

    My doctor said i shouldn't be squatting.. what can i do for legs to get the best workout....? sans squats??

    do you have a knee problem? if you do, there pretty much isn't anythng you can do for legs

    if it is a lower back problem then do seated leg press

    Why did your doctor tell you not to squat?
    Also does he mean for now or for ever?
    I've had 5 knee surgeries (none due to lifting) 1 acl reconsruction ans 4 scopes and I find squating helps my knees.
    There is no reason for you not to squat if you use correct form and don't jump out the window with the weight.

    leg presses and hack squats work well.

    Hack squats are the worst exercise you could yo with a bad knees or a bad back.

    i got knees that arent so good...stopped doing squats because of that and i do hack squats fine..no pain nothing!

    i have a slight back problem, nothin major, and my one knee has tendonitis

    Try box squats. and good mornings start out light. Once you stregnthen your back you'll be surpised how many less back problems you'll have.
