IMO is depends.. On or off AS... While on, recovery time is shorter.. To get the best results, you need to crush everthing as soon as you feel recoverd.
While off AS, i would go with a minimum of 6-7 days recovery time. This should give you maximum recovery time, you will benifet from this the most.

    Hey Playhata! Here' goes...

IMO your craming way to much into one workout! Juice or no juice... Your going to be able to hit the mucle group harder if you have the energy to do it. There it no way in hell I would try to do chest and legs on the same day... much less throw back in there with it!

I would try something like this

Day 1Chest w/ triceps or biceps
    Day 2 Legs
    Day 3 Shoulders w/Abs
Day 4 Back w / triceps or biceps
    Day 5 off
Day 6 start over (Day 1)

On the sixth and seventh day of each week you're hitting a body part twice...

Also check out this link... This one gives you more rest. It's a true once a week routine. How much rest you need depends on a lot of factors: diet, age, fittness level, juice, etc. Just don't try to cram to much into one day.

Keep it up man. It sure sounds like you don't have a problem with your intinsity level!

i think you're original routine was little much. you wanted to do back, chest AND legs in one day? it's very hard to get all those done with intensity in one session. try something like this

    mon- chest/shoulders/tri
    tuesday- legs/backs/bi
    wednesday- off
thursday- same body parts as mon, different exercises
friday- same as tues, different exercises

Once a week yes but you could get away with it if you do a light workout just to get the blood flowing.Which will aid recovery

If you choose to work some bodypart twice a week a good idea might be to split the workouts into light and heavy. For chest, for example, you could do almost a powerlifting routine on your heavy day (say 10-15 sets of 1-8 reps with weight going up gradually and reps going down to 1 for the last 4-5 sets). I'd say dont do more than 2 exercises on a heavy day (eg. flat bench, flys would be enuf). On your lighter chest day you go for 4-5 exercises, 3-4 sets for each but up the reps obviously.

At the end of the day, I think, it all comes down to the individual. If you are finding you can come back to the gym and do more reps/sets/higher weight than you did last time its an indication that everything is going well and that you are getting enuf time to recover. If you are finding, however, that every workout you are getting weaker then you most certainly need more rest.
