    tendon strain

    any ideas on how to avoid tendon or joint pain?
    every time i bench heavy my left elbow strains. hurts any other work out. doing flat bench, dumbell inclines, cable pulls and dumbell flys .i stretch for 15-20 min
    going for chest cut not size and max reps is 15 or exhaustion

    possible suggestions for other routine? or do i just work thru the pain?

    hate to say this, but bro, I had the same thing happen to me. I finally got tired of it and went to my Physical Theropists. She told me simply to stay off of it for 3 months. I told her she was crazy, so I fought it and fought it, taking pain pills after pain pills, until I couldn't take it anymore. I got to where it was hurting me all the time, even in my sleep. so I laid off lifting for 3 months, and guess what? My PT was right, tendon is stronger and hasn't given me problems since. Heat and Ice work wonders too. If you are stubborn like I was, and don't want to take a break. Remember the body (espeically tendons) need time to heal.
