    Where should I get dumbells

I have been working out in a gym for about 2.5 years, and was considering buying an adjustable bench and dumbells for home. I was really surprised how expensive they were when I went to price them. Where should I be looking? Is there a dumbell discounter?

No, just Models and Sports Authority are the big store. For a decent set the cost seemed to be running conse to $1,000, which is way more than I wanted to pay.

Hey dane I don't want to be a smart ass, but if it's 50c/lb, then for $100 you get only 200lbs worth of weight. I'm I right or wrong???

Also do you know any stores that are cheap close to CT?

Now that more like what I would like to pay Dane. I didn't miss the point that Play it again Sports sells cheap. I shall look them up and see where I can find one. $100 for a set would be a steal.

The 50c/lb price you say is normal is even on the low end. Ithink the SA charges closer to $1/lb. For the weights that I use now that would put me into the 4 figure category.
