Solid Heart Rate Monitor?
Can anyone recommend a good heart rate monitor? Make and model would be ideal, but I'm open to specific brands (I've heard Polar mentioned here in the past).
Thanks!Last edited by Short_Guy; 06-05-2003 at 05:59 PM.

get a basic Polar
$50 bucks and you can get insurance on it for like another 5 or 10 bucks.it's all you need.i use that one w/ all my clients.you don't really need all the splits and tracking and all the buzz shit that shoots up the price.

Agreed get a basic Polar. I've got one with all the bells and whistles and I never use them....ever.

i have the polar one that was like 129.99...the fancier ones are not necessary, however i like the features mine has.
i use all of them and it really helps me with my cardio sessions.

I'm a fan of the polar, it's a solid product. Most eliptical machines, bike and treadmills will recognize you have the chest strap on and you don't have to wear the wrist watch. REDROCK
