    Hamstring Curls build glutes?

Are hamstring curls good for hitting your glutes? What about squats and deads?

They definitely work out your glutes. I would assume more as of a secondary muscle. Deep squats will also do the same.

i dout that they affect glutes in anyway. Squats, leg press, and that odd loocking machine works your glutes but hamstring curlz dout it

Reverse hyperextensions are much better, and work the hamstrings to the same degree.

I do my leg curls on a machine where you lay down on your stomach and curl up. If you are using one like that, then it definitely hits your glutes. Its not the primary muscle being worked but it is being worked.

They work as a supporting / secondary muscle group YES. And Squats definatley work them if you go down deep enough.
