My neck is my problem. I need like an 16-16.5 in neck just as standard and i don't know how to figure that out. This is my biggest problem and it has to be solved. I don't know what to do. I did neck exercises but it got more defined and not bigger. I need your help really bad. THIS IS MY BIGGEST PROB.

Well, let me be the first to take a stab at it. Shrugs and deads aren't doing it for you??? <--- kinda what that guy is doing..lol

Then what I reccomend is laying on a flat bench, get a 5-10lb plate, and with your head and neck off of the bench, do LIGHT, and i mean LIGHT neck curls. This exercise is VERY dangerous and puts a lot of muscles, cartilage, and nerves at a serious risk. This exercise should be performed only under the supervision of PaPaPumP...(lol, i just added that last part, because i started to sound like a disclaimer for a porn site).

But start off slow and see how it feels, if you have any doubts or feel it "tweaking" or hurting, stop immediately. The neck is a very important, yet fragile bodypart, and ya kinda need it for your head to stand up. I'm sure BillyBoy, and BA will have something to say in an hour or so, since they are such early risers. Good luck bro.

Pappa you ever thought about making your own porn site? You had me sold..
I have seen neck machines back in the day, don't know if they are still around.
I was told to take a towel rap around your head and while holding each end (as reistence) move your neck up and down. Plates work great, like pappa da man said, take it easy and go slow, I too have a problem with my neck especially after a neck injury a few years ago.
Remember the neck has alot of muscles. Side to side and up and down, the neck has side laterals too that really make your neck look full. I dont' think the plates will give that to ya just by going up and down like poppa said.
A neck machine is perfect I have seen the kind where you can do up and down and side to side. Your gym does not have one?

I'm not sure what the exercise was actually called, but the Barbarian Twins (Paul and David) actually used to incorporate neck strap movements into their w/o's and the both had huge necks. It kind of went something like this.

    Neck Strap Movement

    Emphasis
If you can find a good neck strap in a sporting goods store, you can use it to develop all of your neck muscles.

    Starting Position
Slip a harness over your head and sit at the end of a flat exercise bench with our hands placed on your knees to support your torso at a slight forward angle. With a weight on the end of the chain or rope, slowly move your head forward until your chin is resting on your chest.

    Movement Performance
Slowly move your head directly to the rear as far as possible. Pause a second, then return to the starting point.

    Training Tips
You can also do this movement with the chain/rope hanging down your back and your torso inclined somewhat to the rear. Or you can lean to the left or right and move your head in that direction.

    Safety Tip
With very heavy weights, you can pad the head harness by slipping a thick towel over your head before you slide on the apparatus.

My gym at school is so old. We do have a neck machine - and get this - using it is part of the football's training program. they have the team train 2 days a week (lazy bums - they deserve to lose MAC's)
anyway, like The Big Red Machine said, you can buy neck straps and put weights on them (they look kinda like the harness you put around your waist to make dips or pull-ups more difficult)

I think that squat and deads make you neck bigger. I think its the tension in your neck that increases the mass. Shrugs don't work because they don't cause tension on you neck. Any exercise that causes your neck to move backwards ( towards your traps)instead of forward should cause you neck mature.
