120 is the max at my gym
130 is the max at mine...but i'm looking to move, and one in the town I'm looking at has 160lbers!!
Not sure what exactly your asking but...My gym only goes to the 120's. As far as what my heaviest press that would be the 110's used on flat press. I am actually stronger on DB Incline, that is, if I used a certain weight for flat I could do more reps with the same weight on incline. The thing is I havent gone as heavy on DB Incline as I have on Flat Incline. As far as overhead presses, I may go up to the 70-80's at the most and I never tried DB Decline...
most I ever did was 145 2 reps.
Alright bro's, when I bump this one six months from now you can't get ticked. I'm dying to post mine but until total recovery I can only read yours and dream about mine. You lucky bastards :dg:
150's for a set of 8. I also military pressed 130's for 6.
Stop bragging, lol.Quote:

105's for three sets of 8 on the flat bench....

150's on the flat bench for a set. I prefer barbells for flat bench and incline for dumbells though.
Oh yhea I waz waiting for BDTR to chime in on this thread...dizzam big man 150's. Ill "ketchup" soon enough...LOL
I dropped one of the dumbells on a large jug of water exploding it EVERYWHERE. Thank god no one was near me at the time.
Oh BDTR that gives me an idea, man we should start a thread of the funniest things we've seen dumbass people do in the gym.....I seen someone drop a 50db on there foot and break it in three places. I have also seen someone do lying db pollover with to heavy of a db and fall backwards over the bench feet over face...LOL...I fell over I waz laughing so hard....
Make the thread, i got hundreds of stories. My gym is a fuckin' circus.
In the lounge big man....LOL
i've never really tried to max it out with dumbbells but i typically pyramid my presses with dumbells
flat
12x75
10x90
8x105
6x105
incline i use 100's instead of 105's
i couldn't imagine 130 shoulder presses, respect :)
My heaviest was 130's back in the gear days....now I am doing more reps with 85's. Sure as hell was fun though...someday I will get back up to those large numbers....but I want to do naturally!
Yeah, well i can do the 140 for sets of 8 to 10 easy with out a doubt, but thats the heaveist they go at my gym... I also squat, 600, Best bench was 405 for 5 reps at the end of a my bench routine......Prior i did
275 for 10,
315 for 10,
365 for 8,
then 405 for 5......
I do 165 for aset of 4 on flat, and 150 for 4 on incline. i have help getting one up, do you guys?
The on on top is for incline most I did for flat DB is 175
Yes, it always seems like the first one is almost to difficult. Once you get it up though, its much easier to press....kinda weird.....Quote:

Jesus h christ, 33" legs. that's CONSIDERABLY bigger than my waist!
Gym only goes to 100lbs here, pretty sad.
bdtr 150's, man that's freaky, I would have to deadlift them just to get those off the floor or rack. My best on incline-110's(11 reps)...flat 120's(8 reps). 120's all we got at our gym.
I have done 160's for 6 flat dumbell and I can shoulder press the 120's for 5 - just yesterday actually. I find the 120's harder to balance than actually push. The 110's seem so much lighter. That is at a weight of 256 currently. Down about 10 lbs last 3 weeks.
Been in some ball tourneys and I'm drinking instead of eating, so it can go very fast...
A guy 5'6, 240 in our gym has shoulder pressed the 160's for 6.
He routinely benches 4 plates for 10 on the bench, but havn't seen him do dumbell...
