Workout Music
IMO workout music is the driving force behind a kick ass workout. What do you like to listen to when your working out?
My favorite new band to listen to is Thrice. Anyone who hasnt had the privilege of listening to them should check them out at

AC/DC (Thunderstruck, best workout song ever)
I must agree with that one, thunderstruck is a badass song that gets me pumped. Here are some more of my favorites...
a) Motley Crue-"kickstart my heart" "wild side"
b) Metallica-"am i evil?" "seek and destroy" "aint my bitch" "sad but true"
"fuel" "for whom the bell tolls".. many more
c) any ac/dc, bon scott stuff mainly
d) sammy hagar-"heavy metal" "only one way to rock"

I don't really listen to heavy metal, rock or alternative, but I have my hip hop tunes...
Snoop Dogg - From The Chuuch To Da Palace
50 Cent - Many Men
Outkast - Sunday Morning
Gravediggaz - Bang Your Head
2 Pac - Hit 'Em Up
50 Cent - Bump Heads
Dr.Dre - Bodyguard
Outkast - Chonkyfire
Don't really know too many other lifters who listen to hip hop in AR? Atleast in other threads similar to this one, most of them have been AC/DC, Metallica and one of my personal craziest favourite Pantera. They just scare the shit out of me.

Hey Ronny, your not the only one.......I have my days when I load up the mp3 player with hip hop..............but for the most part is has to be metal...........pantera, (classic)metallica, 3rdstrike, static x, system of the down......anything to get you pumped up

That's good to hear MJ, I load up my MP3 player once in awhile with some Pantera, Nirvana and System Of The Down too once in awhile. It all depends on what kind of mood I'm in. I don't know too much about Rock or Heavy Metal, so when people post up tunes I generally just download the ones you guys post up and see which ones get my motivated.

Man this list could get long. Heavy Metal is the bomb. Coal Chamber, Fear Factory, Disturbed, Godsmack, Chevelle, Drowning Pool, Linkin Park, Mudvayne, Noise Therapy, Papa Roach, Pantera, Rob Zombie, Seether, Saliva, Scars of Life, Slipknot, Static X, Staind, Taproot, Motorhead, Union Underground, Metallica, the list goes on and on. Hip-hop and rap are great played wide open on the ride to the gym. Sorry bros got carried away. Man my ears are still ringing.

I know this thread is a little old, but I had to chime in. No one has mentioned the deftones... with the exception of the crow 2 soundtrack... the deftones have some AWESOME, driven songs. Both of their first two albums pack a hard punch, their third and fourth not so much. Adrenaline (come on now, with that title how could you go wrong??) is the best, but around the fur (my personal favorite title) rivals it. Songs like "lifter" "my own summer" and "rickets" make you want to get that last rep so bad your eyeballs will pop out. To throw in a nice mixture, mix it with some linkin park. "Paper cut" has an AWESOME tempo for cardio or fast rep exercises.
The shade...is a tool...a device...a saviour's secret try...and look up...to the sky...but my eyes burn
