    Extreme Soreness


    I tried a few forced reps for triceps earlier this week, and now they are much more sore than ever. It's a given that new, more intense training techniques will make me more sore, but how will I know if I am overtraining? I don't want to be sore for 4-5 days only to find out that I am still lifting the same poundages that I was lifting the week before.

    You pretty much answered that one yourself. If your hurting week after week and not making any gains.... most likely you're over training. Also listen to your body, if you're feeling run down and lazy, might be overtraining and you need a break.
