    Jumping?

Just curious, which muscles are responsible for verticle jump? I have heart calfs, glutes, and abs, all from different people. I'm sure they all act in some way, but which muscle is the prime mover in the jumping action?

Basically all of the muscles you listed are involved to some extent. You need all of them to be powerfull to get really explosive jumps. The big movers, as i see it, are quads and glutes though..followed by calves, etc...
