    at home cardio

Anyone know of any low impact cardio that can be done at home without a machine? Like something that can be done in a single room and still burn a lot of calories. Im saving up for a stairmaster, but it seems like Ill never afford it. Any help is appreciated.

A long time ago, when I first began exercising, I used to run in place at home. It helped me lose quite a bit of weight.

Calisthenics seems to help. You know like jumping jacks and squat thrusts. Mountain climbers, free squats, high rep ab work, push-ups. Army type of stuff. I tried it for a couple of days and it got my heart rate up and pumping. I slacked off because I am not a big cardio fan.
Jumping rope kicks ass though for quality and it burns hell o' calories in a short amount of time.

Jumping rope will do the trick. Assuming your ceilings are high enough. On a nice day you can circuit train by jumping rope x amount of times then run around the block (assume you live somewhere condusive). Then jump rope again and run again. Do this three or four times. Great cardio.
I know you did say what you could do in a room, just some ideas

for like $19.99 you can buy one of those little mini tramps, (they are aprox 3 feet round)......they sell them at like Walmart, K-mart and places like that,... you can jog on those and get your heart rate up with no problems,...

Skipping for high intensity and walking(outdoor) for low intensity.
