Decline bench: How much weight can you do? Barbell or Dumbells...

Did 205 barbell tonight for 4 times. It's the most I've ever done on decline. Last time I did dumbells I did 65's for 6 times I think...I could do much more though...

Now everyone be honest and let's have it!

usually go heavy d-bells, 65+, its good for chest development. Do you do any decline hammer? Do you do any decline flyes?

I do decline but I always do after I've done 4 sets of flat and 3 sets of Incline or vise versa. I never start on decline so I'm usually seriously fatigued.
yesterdays decline was 180 for 6.
Starting on decline I have know idea

Can't you guys decline more than your regular bench? I don't do it anymore but I would rep 265 for 6-8 when I was benching like 300, and I'm at 430 now, so...but like i said, i don't do decline's anymore

decline just seems so akward with a barebell and I get a better stretch from the d-bells.

i agree with being able to bench more on the decline. seeing that i never start out there i don't know what my max would be. i start with the incline bench and i use 95#-100# dbs.

All of that in each chest workout?? That's not overdoing it?? Someone told me that's it's good to do 4 exercises for each body part (i.e. chest, bi's, tri's, delts, etc) you have 6 listed...guess it probably doesn't matter. Looks good to me bro. I'll try it out. Apparently it's pretty effective. Thanks.

dude i think you need declines. how can you get that nice formation in ur pecs without it?? One thing thought you should try and rotate like one week start incles one week start wih delines. My only problems is that i go sooo heavy on inclines and declines that by the time i go to flat i have no energy. i usually skip flat. cause i do inclines then inlcine cross overs witht he cables, then declines and then this excerscice i learned with the cables that works ur declines muscls. dno clue what it s called. by then i am soo tired i do some pec decs and maybe some wide grips and i bounce. but i got 70lb dumbel up oince like 6 or8 times. My decline and flat are about even though.

Decline is my strongest chest movement so I always do decline last. I can do 80 pd DBs and only 60-65 DBs incline. I think it has to do with gymnastics. A lot of the strength moves we do hit the lower chest.
