Abs and Forearms 3 days a week, T or F??
My ab routine looks like this:
4 sets of 25 weighted pull down crunches
4 sets of 25 weighted leg lifts
My forarm routine looks like this:
3 sets wrist curls
3 sets reverse wrist curls
(both reps of 10)
I do these once a week, but I've heard to do them three times a week. True or False? If true should I lower the number of reps on abs?

Ive heard both ways. I ussally do my abs 2-3 times. It what you feel comfortable with. If you think you can then do it.

I've always heard that doing abs multiple times/week was from the old "spot fat reduction" myth.

you can work your abs everyday and your foreamrs you work that everyday also so do those on your arm day

So what premises an ab workout ed or even eod? Is it because they are smaller and require less recovery time? I had always heard that they are just like and other muscle and require at least 3 days of recovery time.

Genetically , those can be very hard to build up for some people. I hit mine 2-3 times a week, so it's okay to train them. I do 1 day high rep (25) and 2 days of low rep with weight (8-12). If you have any questions you could PM Shredz . The man knows what hes talking about when it come to abs.

I read in arnolds encyclopedia that your able to hit your abs two - three times a week along wiht your calves.. when i get a chance i'll scan the page..

Thanks guys, I was thinking of taking on something like that myself hoss. M & Wednesday doing heavy weight with reps of 12 and on friday hitting them with reps of 25-30.
