I find that 3X20 crunches (slow and strict) and 3X20 hanging leg raises works really well. I would love to use and ab machine but i dont have one at my gym. Cable crunches are also really good.

Roman Chair Leg lifts, Crunches on a Swiss ball, and Crunches with a medicine ball are all great as long as you dont cheat!

YO! i have been doing abs usually 3-4 times a week for the past 8 months now, and they are coming along pretty well. if my diet was better, i'm sure i would be ripped. however, now that i am working on my diet, i have just a few questions for you brothas. have changed up my excersizes a few times, from ab-machine crunches (doing them hardcore for like 5 minutes straight until i got fit) and now i am doing decline sit-ups (2 sets of 40) then crunches on a machine with about 100 lbs weight--4 sets of 20. my abs feel the burn, but are still not where i want them to be. any suggestions? is it better to do a ton of reps with low weight, or less reps with moderate weight?

big ups, whitey. thanks for the info. i'll try a bit heavier weight on the machine with sets of 15. any suggestions for decline sit-ups? they target my lower abs, which need more work, so i like to do those. maybe grab a 25 lb plate and hold it to my chest while doing them?? what do you think of the decline bench leg-raises? (holding on behind my head, raising the legs up from the floor on a decline?) then tend to get the lower abs as well...
and yes, if that is Katie, she is smokin! ****...
