What are the best possible exercises for overall power.

I would think compound excercises such as deadlifts, squats.....stuff like that. Bump for other opinions.

Deads, bench, squats, military press.....
Arnold used to abuse these exercises when he began bodybuilding. Cleans are awesome too in all its variations: power clean, hang cleans and my favorite clean & press.
All these exercises recruit many muscle groups and fibres, best for overall performance and power.
