Overtraining or Undertraining
I just got back from a trip to my local supplement store...this time i talked to the guy about lifting. The man is very knowledgeable and is HUGE. I asked him how long should a workout be in order to grow and get "bigger". He said no more then 30 minutes on a muscle. Now to me that seems very short. I am the type that likes to go to the gym for 2 hours and just kill my self but then again that can destroy muscle cells. What exactly is good for bulding muscle. As a kid growing up i always read your Muscle development and Flex mags. and saw these guys who looked like they spent Hours upon HOURS in the gym to get that big. Well now i am starting to realize maybe it is more of the diet.?.? What do you guys think. Then I also heard that your body is only in a anabolic state for at the most 45 min and then goes into catabolic state. I need some help because i am getting totally confused. Give me your 2 cents on this thanx
