Hey guys, i have been reading & learning a lot from the imformation put forth here on AR........so, i finally joined. I have been lifting for about 5 yrs now, off and on. I'm 6' tall and i'm 195 lbs. My max for bench is 315, squat is 405....My question is.....I have had a lot of lower back pain, so when i started back in the gym this winter, i started benching w/ my feet in the air. Well, on wednesday on this week i left the gym, only to find out i had blowed out a hemmeroid. Do you think i should go back to regular style bench w/ my feet on the floor, or continue w/ my feet in the air, and just start using less weight w/ more reps.............any help much appreciated.
