Help i have only 8 weeks
Hi everyone,
I hope this is in the right forum and i hope its not too boring., Im 6ft 3 and 211lbs. i am in pretty good shape but i am still trying to bulk up to 220lbs. As a product of my bulking up i have some excess weight (probably 2-3lbs) mostly around my waist. I have a challenge going with a couple of friends who are also training with weights. We are having a competition to see who is in the best shape at the end of May. My time to work out is limited (i work 12 hours most day and have a family) so i am devoting all my workouts to bulking up with big exercises i.e squats, clean and press, benchpress barbell curls etc.. mostly the exercises from Arnolds encyclopedia. However i really want to lose the fat around my hips before the day of 'judging' When do you think i should stop with the weights and start the cardio? I have a pretty fast metabolism so i can lose the weight pretty easy but i am looking for suggestions. I also have some Dbol on hand should i start it now or wait and start 4 weeks before the 'judging' or not bother at all with Dbol?. I hope this makes sense and it hasnt bored you all to death... please let me know if you have any advice. thanks in advance.....

hmmmmmm
alright i might be a newbie but it doesnt take much to notice what your doing is wrong.. first of all, a dbol cycle alone IMO is useless.. second of all, your doing it for a bet, and the bet is to see who's in best shape. seems to me all you would have to do is go on a strict diet and weight train, in 8 weeks you can notice a huge difference.. I made a 8 week training split for myself, maybe it'll help you:
Week 1&2 am/pm
Monday Chest stomach
Tuesday Back 1 calves
Wed off stomach
Thursday shoulders deadlifts
Friday arms
Saturday back 2 stomach
Sunday legs
Week 3& 4 am/pm
Monday legs stomach
Tuesday chest
Wed Back 1 stomach
Thursday off calves
Friday arms deadlifts
Saturday back 2
Sunday shoulders stomach
Week 5 am/pm
Monday Chest stomach
Tuesday Back calves
Wed off stomach
Thursday shoulders deadlifts
Friday arms
Saturday off stomach
Sunday legs
Week 6 am/pm
Monday Chest stomach
Tuesday Back calves
Wed off stomach
Thursday shoulders deadlifts
Friday arms
Saturday off stomach
Sunday legs
Week 7 am/pm
Monday Chest stomach
Tuesday Back calves
Wed off stomach
Thursday shoulders deadlift
Friday arms calves
Saturday off stomach
Sunday legs deadlift
Week 8 am/pm
Monday Chest stomach
Tuesday Back calves
Wed off stomach
Thursday shoulders deadlift
Friday arms calves
Saturday chest light stomach
Sunday legs deadlift
maybe thatll give you a good idea on how to seperate your workouts.. if you need help on what to do feel free to pm me.
good luck, and save the bol for when your serious about a cycle.Last edited by JayPee; 03-25-2004 at 12:53 PM.

if he's working 12+ hours a day.......theres no way he can get in the gym twice a day.....almost every day for 8 weeks straight
Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, THAT IS STRENGTH

8 weeks worth of test isnt enough tho bro. IMO a good diet and hardcore training is all you need. Save the drugs.

A nice fina/prop 8 week cycle can make you look realy good with a clean diet.
