    Too much cardio???

I know you can overtrain your muscles, by over doing your training. What about cardio, can you "overtrain" your system by doing too much cardio? What is the ideal amount of cardio you should do in one day? I mean, just because you can keep going doesn't mean it's healthy does it? I do about 60-90 minutes of cardio, three days a week to burn off the fat. I just started this a few days ago. Is this enough, too little, or too much???

    Thnx

Man i congradulate you for doing 60-90 minutes of cardio three days a week. I dont think 60 minutes 3 days a week is too much however 90 minutes may be pushing it. but i am not positive on it. I Do know you should do high intensity cardio 7 days a week. that isnt good for you. make sure your diet is up to par along with those 60 - 90 minute cardio sessions and u should loose alot of fat quick. keep the weight training in there because more muscle usually mean less Bodyfat % cuz muscle helps to burn fat.
