    Abs and PWO nutrition

M/W/and Sat. mean abs for me, this is my workout:

Hip Thrusts: 3 sets of 20
Reverse Crunch: 2 sets of 20
Oblique Crunch: 3 sets of 20
    Straight-Leg Crunch: 3 sets of 20
    Crunch: 2 sets of 20

Now my question is this. Since these are just body weight exercises, do you think the workout is enough to require dextrose pwo? Abs are the only things I work on these days. They definately get a pump, but I don't want to take Dextrose or Honey pwo for an insulin spike if its not going to do any good. What do you think? What about PPWO carbs?

Swole says you dont need PWO shakes after abs...

BTW I'd trains abs like a normal muscle, e.g. 6-12 reps with weight.

Since Im an advocate of Doggcrap workouts, I do slow negatives(6-8 second) and increase the weight and/or reps every time but I do like 3 minisets, miniset to failure then 20 second break mini to failure then 20 sec break mini to failure, totalling 15-30 reps in the set(1 set = 3 minis). For obliques I do side bends on the incline hyper extension machine but its just one straight set with long negatives.
