THE quad question
Since I am really unable to push heavy with squats (multiple knee ops) how do heavy leg presses compare in building size?I am able to push a ton more with the press than squats. Same with hacks. They KILL my knee. What is a good exercise to replace hacks?

I always find that other parts of my body become tired before my quads when doing squats.I think presses work just as well and I remember a mod off BSS saying he had 33" thighs and had never done squats so something must work!
If it hurts don,t do them find other methods like presses leg ext unilateral leg ext ect
