Deltiods in pain after incline bench, any help??
After I do a set of incline bench, my deltiod are in pain, the pain kinda like when you first start lifting and there is acid build up in the muscles.
It been happening for a while now and I though with building shoulders up it would go away but it has not.
Any suggestion on what I could do or what I am doign wrong,
I have tried diff grips at various distance still have same thing every time.
it only with incline bench not with flat or decline

From the sounds of it man, ur using too much incline. Anything over 30% or so is too much, past that is anterior delt, which is what ur feeling. Its burning cause thats what ur using. Its not bothering you with flat because your shoulder is only stabalizing in that position, but at too much of an incline, its become a shoulder press. I suggest using an adjustable bench, if the one you currently use isnt, and settin it to about 30% or 35% at most. Grip should always be wide enough so when you come down to ur arms being parallel with your chest, your there should be 90% at ur elbows. Dont be afraid to use dumbellls instead of barbell. Lift heavy, lift slow and controlled. Peace.
