    i'm not symmetrical, help

well, i know this is common for a lot of guys. my left arm is bigger and stronger than my right. not by a ton, but noticable, to me at least. my triceps are more develped on the left, even my left pec is a little bigger. but my right forearm and lat are bigger than the left. any suggestions on how to help get a more even, symmetrical look? any help is appreciated

Try doing more isolation movements on your weaker parts and maybe throw in an extra set.

Guys take the jokes to the discussion board....

How long have you been weight training?.. Its a common problem in the first few yrs training. Normally the smaller, weaker side catches up. I bet no one else can see the difference.

use dumbells... it forces the weaker muscle to carry the same load as the other arm.... when you use a barbell the stronger muscle does more of the work .

ive been working out for 6 years, 4 years very seriously. i just cant get certain muscles to match the size of the other side. i know many cant tell, it just bothers the hell out of me

yeah, i do that. i tend to stay away from barbells so my stronger left side doesnt compensate for my weaker, right side. i do a lot of isolation exercises. maybe i will try to throw in a few extra reps. thanx

I had the same problem when I first started lifting. What I did was to start with my weak side. For example, if I was doing dumbell curls, I would do them with my left arm first, then right. I would match the same amount of reps even though I could do more with my right, eventually they had the same strength and size. If there is a huge difference I would do one or two more reps with the weaker side.
