Does cardio after a workout burn muscle? I am still in high school so cardio in the morning is out until summer. i work out 4 days a week, should i only do cardio on off days or can i do them after working out? Help would be greatly appreciated

cardio after workouts is about the best time to do it. just remember if you are trying to gain weight not to do too much but cardio is not going to burn your muscles away if you are feeding them the right amount of protein, carbs, and calories. if trying to gain lean mass do cardio 2-3 times a week for about 20-30 minutes. that should just enough to keep excess fat away.
