Part 1:
I decided to try out gear. Then I realized it's complicated and high risk...or high reward depending on how it's done. It took me maybe 10-20 hours of research to feel comfortable doing a cycle. I really appreciate all the helpful knowledgeable people that post on here. Seriously--thank you so much. I'm definitely interested in advice/constructive criticism but I'm also hoping this will help some people.
In the initial research phase I talked to a lot of anti-aging doctors. Some are great. Some clearly want you on "therapy" i.e. no cycles, for the purposes of selling you greatly marked-up stuff forever. Various doctors have that same habit. Fortunately reading forums I realized at some point being on AAS without breaks likely permanently damages your ability to produce test, and also messes up the HPTAxis.
So I shopped around for local doctors instead of calling Florida and internet stuff. (if this is considered "discussing sources" please let me know and I'll take it out) As I heard the same pitches over and over and kept reading forums and biology books I got comfortable with managing the risks and getting maximum rewards. I went with a local doctor who seemed to know his stuff, didn't really seem that trustworthy, and definitely seemed like I could push him into doing my program, not his. He's about the money and I can tell. I was able to push him to order me stuff pretty easily, I was able to haggle him down on price, and when he wasn't responsive and pissed me off, he responded to my aggressive threats of reporting him, etc. and we made up and are friendly.
I now get my blood tests from walkinlabs.com and the actual lab is labcorp inc. For around $350-$400. I'll post my results below in multiple posts so I don't lose what I've written. I decided to go with hGH Omnitrope after looking at Saizen, Tevtropin, etc. I generally lost respect for anyone pushing non-bioidentical 191. My understanding is 192 is not good or safe. I looked at jintropin and other stuff, but even though it's 10% of the price, I decided the more expensive legal, legitimately prescribed domestic stuff is worth it. I'm shooting it into my subQ belly fat for crying out loud. Chinese factories are bathing their kids toys in lead, do I really think they care about shipping no-label, bulk hGH to me in the US? I also went with Test Cypionate with zinc.
The program:
So hGH (omnitrope) .5 mg or 1.5 ius/day. I started 7 days a week and then cut back to 5. It leaves your system in 4 hours so I don't have a big fear of my bodies natural hGH being shut down. I continue on this now as well.
Test Cypionate: 100mg/week largely because I wanted my first cycle to be light, but now I suspect my 2nd cycle will be only 125mg to 150mg because it was awesome with only minor sides. I often used tadalafil soft tabs (viagra like) in the past with good results, but here, my sex drive went insane. Typically I'll hook up with a girl 2-3 times in a night if I like her. That went to literally 5-8 times and I probably could have still gone more. The sex drive wained after roughly 6 weeks on it. I got a little aggressive about 2 weeks into it and a bit more after that. Overall I felt very little change in mood, and no real loss of control or anger. The gains were immediate. I went from roughly 155 to 175 in a matter of 8 weeks. Of course I suspect a ton of that is water weight, but I also lifted even more than usual since my recovery time was fantastic.
For background I've fought competitively in Muay Thai and brazilian jiu jitsu and exercised 5-15 times a week for many years. I'm 34. I have full weights at my house so working out is convenient. I have a pretty good diet, and generally do a protein shake right after working out.
I also shifted workouts to the AM on an empty stomach because my bodyfat is still more than I would like. Scale says 11%, but I think it's a touch more. But I digress. My stupid doctor told me no other medications were necessary. A week into cypionate I realized he's an idiot from reading forums and after two pretty aggressive arguments he wrote me a script for arimidex. I helped him by changing the prescription before submitting it to my the online pharmacy that got it from New Zealand. I bought 6 times what he had written so I won't have to rely on him.
I do regret letting him not give me HCG. I wanted it and he swore it was not necessary. Right near the end of my cycle--the 7th or 8th week I think I noticed my left nut shrinking, just a touch. I had examined them every week, but didn't take actual pictures or measurements, just felt them. I immediately ordered clomid without a prescription from an online pharmacy that's worked well for me in the past, and basically browbeat my doctor into sending me HCG. I now have 3 vials of 500mg. I'm debating not using them yet and haven't reconstituted them from powder form. I'm refrigerating them and my understanding is that I can keep HCG in powder for a long time (like I do with the omnitrope) and only once it's reconstituted does a roughly 30-45 day clock start and it goes bad.
So I waited 10 days after the cycle--because that's how long I read was appropriate for cypionate, and then started clomid and continued taking arimdex I think .5 mg every other day. Clomid was 100mg/day for a bit, then 50mg/day. I know people do more. I went a little lighter because i only did 100mg cypionate/week which is much lighter than many.
Now that I have the HCG do you think I should do it now? my left nut is still a tiny tiny bit smaller, but maybe it was always that way. It's not noticeable and isn't obvious whatsoever. Additionally, I'm definitely making test cause my cycle wasn't harsh, I feel great, and I've been off the cycle for roughly 5 weeks (then did 3 weeks PCT).
