You probably have an over-active thyroid. That would make your metabolism "high-ish" in comparison to the norm. at 162 pounds I'm assuming you're tall?

They will just give you meds to regulate your thyroid function, not a big deal - many people have thyroid issues. It has nothing to do with your test/estrogen/coritsol/IGF-1 (p.s. "HGH levels" is not a real term.)

I would think thyroid medication would be considered to be a common medicine but I could be wrong. I am low thyroid. You are high. Many people are on thyroid meds.

To much t3 floating around can make it hard to hold on to muscle, so it can be somewhat catabolic, but on the flip side losing fat would be hella easy for you. Its better to get it fixed though as most will agree with clean diet and cardio mmost people can get ultra lean with diligence and hard work, but gaining sick amounts of muscle is harder. Also hyperthyroidism can make your eyes bulge for some reason.
Steroids can decrease t3 activity. My guess is this is this is due to estrogen levels being above normal, as estrogen has been shown to do the same, and women genrally have more thyroid problems than men. Some hyper, some hypo. Maybe in you supraphysiological amounts of estrogen cause yout to be more hyper thyroid, idk. I know your origonal question was do thryoid hormones affect steroids....idk. But steroid hormones can affect thyroid hormones.
corticosteroids also affect throid production as well, usually lowers it. Prednizone, medrol, synthetic cortizones etc, they are adrenal steroids, a different class of steroids, different animal....but none the less, all steroids, testosterone , estrogen, cortisol, adrenalin, are all made from cholesterol. Maybe the thyroid just doesn't like cholesterol based hormones, idk.
