Free T, SHBG, Vit D and a sensitive estrogen assay would be nice additions....

Shouldn't my doc have known what to do? I said I wanted to check my test levels and does test serum normally cost $85 to get checked?

Most docs aren't really that squared away with blood work, especially hormone related. No clue on cost as my insurance covers it. Take a look at the Finding a Doc Sticky in the HRT Forum for examples of blood work.

Ahh ok, yeah I'm under my schools insurance I thought there would be a co pay but no I just get charged the full amount which is restarted why would I pay $900 for 6 months of insurance when I still have to pay that? I'll look at that sticky now, thanks

Also because you said its steroid related, insurance is not going to pay for it.. At least I do not think they will...

I don't think they would be able to do that, because of doctor patient confidentiality they wouldn't be able to tell my insurance I took anything. But I'm not sure on that either.

I think they can I know in G.B they won't pay out if you don't disclose what it is for . Like trying to claim life insurance but not disclosing you smoke . They won't pay out.

Hmm idk, just strange that I had to pay it to me, I can see paying a co pay I was t expecting to pay for it all.
