Blood test results (low estradiol, high free testosterone)

    Hi!

    My stats:
    - Age: 31
    - Height: 5" 10 (178 cm)
    - Weight: 174 lbs (79kg).
    - Body Fat: around 11-12%

I did two blood tests in the last month and these are the results:

    Date: 8-14-2013
    - Testosterone, Serum 643 ng/dL (348-1197)
    - Testosterone, Free 21.54 ng/dL (5.00 - 21.00) HIGH
    - % Free testosterone 3.35 (1.5-4.2%)
    - Estradiol, Sensitive 6 pg/mL (3-70)
    - Creatinine 1.41 mg/dL (0.76-1.27) HIGH
    - BUN 24 mg/dL (6-20) HIGH
    - AST 39 IU/L (0-40)
    - ALT 41 IU/L (0-44)

    Date: 9-16-2013
    - Testosterone, Serum 603 ng/dL (348-1197)
    - Testosterone, Free 23.52 ng/dL (5.00 - 21.00) HIGH
    - % Free testosterone 3.9 (1.5-4.2%)
    - Estradiol, Sensitive 9 pg/mL (3-70)
    - Creatinine 1.38 mg/dL (0.76-1.27) HIGH
    - BUN 28 mg/dL (6-20) HIGH
    - AST 45 IU/L (0-40) HIGH
    - ALT 43 IU/L (0-44)

The rest of the tests (Lipid panel, thyroid panel with TSH, FSH, LH, Prostate Specific agent, IGF-1, CBC) seems to be ok.

The testosterone total (603-643) is about average for a 30-34 years old man (based on some studies). The testosterone free is a little high (21.54-23.52) and the estradiol a little low (6-9). Is this a problem?

It seems that the creatinine, BUN, AST, ALT are a little high (or borderline high). Should I be worried about these values? As far as I know the creatinine and BUN will be high if you have a high-calorie, high-protein diet.

And the most important question, it is safe to start my first cycle (test only) based on these test results?

I appreciate any answer or advice. Thanks!

I do not see any cholesterol levels here. Hdl and Ldl. Why were they not checked or am I missing something?

As steroids can alter these levels in quite dramatic ways I would want to know where they were. That way any changes can be rectified. Is your blood pressure ok? I would nor comment on these numbers, but I know where I found problems

I'd wait for some more knowledgeable members to look first! I am sure they will! Good luck. John
