where to go for blood work
I would like to avoid using insurance for blood work....I actually am waiting to sign up for new insurance at work, I'd like to get some blood work done without insurance regardless because I'll be searching for a new family practitioner and don't want them to know necessarily... does everyone go thru their doctor? If so, what do you say??

I've done so many Google searches and somehow this site never came up... way easier than calling quest as they apparently try to keep using your records

Great question. Last time I went to my doctor, I asked for a full hormone panel (along with lipids, CBC, etc). I ended up with total testosterone and nothing else. My friend dates the PA at the local doc-in-a-box. I'm gonna see if I can get her to do it here; and when that fails I'll go with bass' recommendation.

don't remind me me! Looks like governor good hair's replacement will be a guy who wants to "outconservative" him. I love my state but am embarrassed to say our legislature decided it was in the best interest of women's health to close down planned parenthood. off topic, but wtf.
