Pre cycle Blood Work
Hello Everyone,
I will be running my first cycle hopefully in December this year. Following are my results of blood work. Please let me know your thoughts :
Estradiol 23.24 pg/ml Range : [ Adul male 10-50 pg/ml]
SHBG 13.5 nmol/L Range : [ males 13.0-71.4 nmol/L]
SERUM T3 1.40 nmol/L Range : [1.08 3.14 nmol/L]
SERUM T4 4.4 ug/dl Range : [ Adul male 4.6 - 10.5 ug/dl]
SERUM tsh 2.685 uIU/ml Range : [ Adult male 0.4 - 4.2 uIU/ml]
SERUM CORTISOL 11.80 ug/dl Range : [ 8AM 5.0 --23.0 ug/dl]
PSA 0.266 ng/ml Range : [ 0-2.5 ng/ml]
TESTOSTERONE 21.67 nmol/L Range : [ Adult male 9.0 - 34.72 nmol/L]
B-12 256 pg/ml Range : [ 206 - 678 pg/ml]
SERUM FSH 4.74 mIU/ml Range : [ 1.4 - 15.4 mIU/ml]
SERUM LH 6.02 mIU/ml Range : [ 1.2 - 7.8]
Prolactin 27.9 ng/ml Range : [ 3.0 - 14.7 ng/ml]
Vit D 24
I think there is something wrong with high prolactin levels. Any suggestions ?

Yes, your prolactin is an issue you need to look into. First thing that catches my eye is your TSH being elevated and your T4 level being low. This is an indicator of hypothyroidism or sub-clinical hypothyroidism. That can and will cause an elevation of your prolactin levels which in turn will suppress your endogenous testosterone level. Your doc may tell you that your TSH is not high but he is incorrect. A more modern range for TSH is .3 - 3.0 which puts your up there a bit. Anything over 2 should probably be evaluated.

To me a more thorough thyroid evaluation is probably step one. If that does not resolve the issue then an MRI or your pituitary for possible adenoma's would be in order.
