    First cycle bloodwork

Hey guys, I'm on my 10th week of a 12 week cycle. Started weeks 1-4 with 25mg dbol ed and 1-12 500mg test e. Got some blood work back and I only have one concern. My cholesterol seems a bit high, particularly LDL cholesterol which is 170.6. The guidelines say 160+ puts me at high risk for a stroke. The only other thing that was off was my Lh, which I knew would be low because I haven't been taking hcg but I am going to blast 5000iu before my pct so as long as I have good hcg that should go up. What do you guys think of the cholesterol? Am I actually at risk? Does it go back down after the cycle?

Cant seem to get multiple pics on here from my phone so I'll just link the cholesterol page

Eh guess not even 1 picture would work. I'll try to post them when I get home. Total cholesterol is 227.

Cycles will always effect your lipids. Don't panic over total cholesterol. Divide your triglycerides by your HDL and see if the number is 2 or less. It's a better indicator of overall risk. Not saying to neglect making necessary changes to improve your levels. Your LH will always bottom out as you're shut down. HCG will not improve this level as it only mimics LH, it does not test (on BW) as such nor will it cause it to be produced via your pituitary.

I'd start your HCG now at 250 iu's x 3 per week or 500 x 2 and run it up to 3 days before pct starts. That gives you 4 + weeks on it instead of slamming it at the end old school style.

Thanks for the response. I divided triglycerides by HDL and got 2.62. Is there anything I can do to get that number down? Or do you think it'll go down when im off cycle? I'll get a test after pct to check everything again but if my cholesterol is bad now I dont want to risk anything. That's a good idea for the hcg. I only bought 5000iu so I'll try to split it up evenly starting now before pct

It should return to whatever your norm is when you're off cycle. Fish oil will help with Triglycerides BTW. Wait about 8 weeks post pct to pull BW and if you're checking lipids again see if you can get either an NMR Lipo Profile or VAP Auto Profile. Both give a complete and far more thorough breakdown of your cholesterol and LDL particles. You can learn a lot from it.

So I shouldn't be worried about my levels right now? I always take fish oil, 2 caps a day. Think I should increase that a little? I've had pre-op bw done a few times over the last 5 years, don't know if they check lipids for pre-op, but no doctor has ever brought it to my attention so I don't think I ever had high cholest. Im 24 yrs old and diet is pretty good so never thought cholest would be a problem. Thanks for the test suggestions btw, you guys on here are way more helpful than my doctor

Remember, I didn't say to not try and improve them via supplementation and diet, just that you can most always expect levels to increase when on cycle. You'll be fine.
