    Blood donation effects on blood test results

    I give blood yesterday and had a doctors appointment today. The doctor gave me a blood test form with several tests will the blood donation alter any of the blood test results and if so how long should I wait. Test are below -

    Renal & electrolytes
    Liver function
    Bone profile
    Thyroid
    Lipids
    Plasma glucose
    FBC
    Crp
    Cardiovascular risk

    It will lower your HCT which is normally a good thing in this world. You'll be fine. It's replaced is about a day anyway.

    So the donation won't effect the blood results the doctor has requested. If there were to be any issues with any of them they would still show up

    No real impact to those bloods.

    Giving blood can impact the body's ability of balance. Light headedness is the most common side. Eating a cookie does nothing to solve this..urban legend. It is a side reflected from change in HCT level usually.
