Aside from mv's racing heritage, tradition and legacy, their current bikes are not as good as the other italian makes. That is why i am selling it, i wouldnt however part with my falco fighter 1000rr now thats a wicked bike

posted some pics from the net.
Funny, was thinking about starting a thread like this....
All my roommates and friends have gixxers, but I sold out and got an aprilia mille factory last week.
Have only ridden dirt bikes before this, but figured I might as well get a nice bike if I am gonna lay down the cash.

Sorry, Harley's for me
Same here.Originally Posted by sooners04

I was not trying to reference performance, though i admit it sounded that way.......Up here in MN I have never seen an MV on the street...seen a thousand R1's....same goes for Bimota..not a 1.....aprilia and ducatti guys up here tend to have more money than skill so I am kinda biased.....I guess I like to stand out from the crowdOriginally Posted by Spoon
Any wheelie pix anyone?... I mean, YOUR WHEELIES..
gotta 02 f4i..... give me a couple days on the wheelie pic... took out the bike today and found it has a flat tire.... this is after i let my dad borrow it so i can use his truck to haul some ****.... he will here about this one
99 katana 600, then a 2001 cbr 929rr. but that **** thing got stolen. so now im gonna get a house with a garage before i buy a new bike
Not I.... I prefer to be stupid and go insanely fast than be stupid and stunt. Just not my thing.Originally Posted by BOUNCER
You don't like the stance? I think it's better than the gixxers, IMO.Originally Posted by Spoon
Ah, you mean you can't do 'em?..Originally Posted by navydevildoc

Besides, no one said it was going in a straight line... don't know how the traffic is over on that side of the pond but here in San Diego there's not much chance for straight lines.
Is that a falcon hayabusa? im awfully scared of that bike! thats a two wheel coffin with all that power. defintely not for the squeamishOriginally Posted by PurePower

i had my 929 to 154mph on I-95 here in philly. that was fast enough for me especially on 95, that **** road has speed bumps on it sometimesOriginally Posted by mass junkie
Selling the MV for an R1 your nutz
bro the mv was my 3rd italian bike, sold my ducati last year. im sick of the way they are so temperemental. iits a trick bike to be seen with but im not all too happy with the handling. yes its one of a kind. its prestigious but its handling cannot compare with others. also by me selling it i get to get the r1 and have some dough to spare![]()
my GSXR-750
anyone can go straight in a fast line though... im workin on wearin down the sides of the tires to nothing... thats when the lighter 600 bikes dominate... the turns... almost got all the edge of the tire completely worn down on the f4i... dont know about any knee touchin though... still got alittle to go beforre that
My R6
Only had it for a month or so but i got it to 120. Can't do wheelies yet. But working on them.
bro you should change your pipes to the carbon fiber ones, they have a lot of cheap carbon accessories for r6.Originally Posted by Demon Deacon
Well it already has a vance and hines pipe on it. So its aftermarket. I dont think its the best pipe because i dont like the way it looks but it is loud. Anyway i am still trying to pay that bike off so i think i am going to hold up until then on any mods i do to it.
Spoon we should go out riding. You can ride my r6 and i'll ride your MV. There are no mv's or ducatis or anything other than jap bikes where i live. So to have an MV here would be the ****.
yeah man if your happy with the sound then its cool. i usually notice the sound in a bike before anything else. nothing beats the sound of a jap bike whinning in red line.Originally Posted by Demon Deacon
