    The last samurai...

    whos seen it???

I fukkin loved that movie...i know it has been out a while, but i never got to see it and go it on PPV last night...

best movie ive seen in a long time...i love the whole japanese culture and how diciplined they are, and how it portrayed the americans and jap politicians as fukkin dip****s...lol...and made the "small" guys (the samurai culture) look so distingushed and intellegent...Tom cruise was great in this movie too...watching him transform and mold made some great parts in the movie

i dont know if it was a true story, but it **** near brought me to tears at the end...lots of action and bada$$!!! fight scenes, but also had an awesome script and set of actors...

i give it- ***** 5 stars....it will be a hard movie to top for sure!

Women over 30 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it.

For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage, why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage.

I thought the movie was great but would have been much better if Tom and the girl hook up in the end instead of leaving us hanging.

The only problem with Usual Suspects is that the plot is known after one viewing. It is not nearly as interesting once you figure out who the bad guy really is. Samurai I thought was excellent as well.

ya but the second time you catch all the little hints you missed the first time. I found that pretty cool. After watching it 4 times already i still catch 1 or 2 things i didnt notice b4. But nonetheless Samurai is good aswell but its a diff type of movie.

The story is true, but it wasnt an American but a frenchman.

They displayed his life in the papers couple of months ago.

I bought the dvd bout a week ago since I never return rentals in time. Ill say it was good because it was different from the norm of battle movies ive seen lately. Although I almost didnt see it at first for that reason, there has been as @ss load of these battle movies the past couple years. After watchin it though, it made me interested in that part of history, but I still remember the chills I got watching gladiator for the first time. So IMO, I dont think last samurai topped Gladiator.
