You are lucky if you can just pull them! Alot of people hafto crack them, it dosent hurt (cause your on novocaine) but it makes a disturbing sound

Good thing is they usually give you some nice pain killers ... the pain isnt usually bad the first day ... wait till day 2 and 3 ... those were the worst for me ...

i was supposed to get mine pulled 10 years ago, but othing scares me worse that the dentist,i would rather have open heart surgery rather than a teeth cleaning at least you get vicodin, but ask for 1000 mgs because the 750 's dont cut it

Ok its been about 8 hours now and they are starting to hurt a little..I had to get all 4 pulled out..they were all impacted so I got put out with Nitrious Oxcide and some other injection that put me out..
The pain med is hydrocodone 7.5/500mg

I had mine done in bootcamp in Orlando. I wasn't numb and when they got me to stop screaming they had to let all the rest of the patients go because they were scared to death. I threw surgical gear one way and back armed the jerk off LT the other. To this day, my dental record is marked VIOLENT PATIENT on the outside!

Good luck bro! I got all four of mine pulled as well, the surgery went well, and after it i had little pain because of the hydrocodone, and the swelling was minimal

just had mine done last thursday.......and man ....i woke up from surgery ....hurling chunks at the doc.......they said everything went well..and all those crazy people who say its nothing....apparently ....don't remember it.....i'd rather have someone ....break both arms than have that done again.....i was sick for like 3 days no food.....but they gave me vidicon....loratabs and..........meprozine...and the new phenegran gel. is da bomb!!!!.....but they said the lower ones sometimes take afew days for the feeling to come back..and they were right.....i looked like i had the mumps for a few days...
so ask for those meds...shoot..be a big baby...like me....You'll thank me for it later

Yeah i had dry socket too ... that **** killed .. vicidon didnt do **** for dry socket .. they actually dipped gauze in cloves and packed it down in the hole ... that worked better than anything and it was natural .. go figure

they stitched up my holes, they desolved in about a week. Hurt like hell though, bleed all the time, couldn't eat, pain keeped me awake so I couldn't sleep either. And those **** pain killers didn't do **** for me, ended up givin them to a friend. Thank god you only have to do that once.

The only thing I have to say about anesthesia is make sure you can get your bladder functioning on your own once you wake up...I didn't have bladder control b/c of the general anesthesia during my surgery two days ago...and it just kept filling and filling---Having a nurse "assist your urination" may sound fun...but IT REALLY ISN'T.
