Anyone do any "adult" type business on the net or otherwise?
I was thinking of starting an internet production company out of my apartment and was wondering if anyone has tried or been successful at it.
I have a nice place to shoot, a high quality digi camcorder, internet savvy friends who would put it all online, and a good short list of hot girls.
Basically, everything is good to go, but I don't know how to get the ball rolling.
Anyone?
I dont see how its profitable with all the pirating. I never pay for porn, and I got tons of it.
live cast is where the $$$ is, and advertising is still good.. i know several girls that can make a livin and go to college just doing that........
Some sleezeball I knew out of state started a couple sites and said that he makes a few grand on the side every month by devoting 10 hours a week to it.
Considering I would be the one shooting and possibly in the movies, I would get a nice benefit as well as some extra cash.
I don't know, I don't have ambitions to be a porn star, but it seems like a nice side job for a yuppie like me.

seriously its hard as hell to be competitive with all those new site that pop out every single day... its just crazy!!! me and my buddy have started a production company this winter for content feeds for websites. fuk it its hard as hell to find hot bitches that know how to suk for the tape... we paid them like 300$-600$ depending on what the scene was about, if it was about peeing and ****ting on em. hehehe j/k
but the big contents feeding companies dont pay much for an "amateur quality" they usually want something new like underage lookin gurl (still +18) or gurls that can do special trick like the famous heather from IDT.com. for each scene we make we managed to get profit in the range of 70 to 100% but still dont worth the assle of finding a good looking chick that is wiiling to do that. you just dont know how many stripclubs and meeting websites we have done to get like 7 scenes!!! :frown:
it can be a very lucrative business you just need a lil bit of money to throw around for marketing...but I bet with some good planning you can still bully your way in ;)
**** you cant make your own website these days, theres jsut too much competition. the best way to get some bucks out off it is to feed XXX website for contents. its crazy how its so **** hard to advertize for XXX on the net!!! it can cost as much as 3000$ a week!!!! if you absolutely want to be in that industry try to make professional looking scene with good sets of high quality pics with a GOOD looking girl then you can make some buk out off it...
