i work construction on a daily basis. today i have trench digging to do. trench is for running water pipe, it "has to be" 110 feet long, 3 feet deep and 2 feet wide. looks like i aint goin to the gym today.

I've had probably 30 odd jobs (including slinging mud for a few years after highschool). said the hell with that and went to college. Now I consult for a software company.

this **** sux man, i mean the only positive to my job is the money. i get paid 500, under the table(which is good for a college student), with free gas and food. all expensis paid. there are so many negatives though, like sometimes i will leave at 6 in the morning and not come back till 7 or 8 at night. tired as ****...........

by hand. well, by shovel. im employed under my dad. he owns a general contracting busniss and he's building 3 or 4 different warehouse's right now. im running the water to 1 warehouse right now which takes me some time. sometimes i think he's lieing when he says "all the machinary is backed up so i cant rent out anything to help you out".

It's a job thats about as exciting as digging trenches with a coffee spoon... in the rain...

I also teach part time at the Fire College, that pays VERY well. Thats such a fun job I would do it for free, but it's only on-call part time work.

i do both but i always use a CAM software cause otherwise it could take weeks to go through a job.... FeatureCam and MasterCam, i master both i only do 3axis programming at my job but i can program combined lathes and multi-axes milling with up to 5 axis

I use Mastercam as well. Full 4axis programing. All 4 axis moving at once. MasterCam is allot of fun.
