the village
Has anyone seen it yet? I've been getting mixed reviews on whether to see it or not. I saw the Bourne Supermacy instead of seeing that.

Was The Bourne Supremacy any good?? I've been wanting to see that along with The Manchurian Candidate.
I've also heard mixed reviews on The Village

The Village was a waste of money. Interesting twist but otherwise a waste of money.

"eventually the secret of Those, etc., is revealed. To call it an anticlimax would be an insult not only to climaxes but to prefixes. It's a crummy secret, about one step up the ladder of narrative originality from It Was All a Dream. It's so witless, in fact, that when we do discover the secret, we want to rewind the film so we don't know the secret anymore.
And then keep on rewinding, and rewinding, until we're back at the beginning, and can get up from our seats and walk backward out of the theater and go down the up escalator and watch the money spring from the cash register into our pockets."

I saw it and agree it was not what I expected, good twist at the ending. The fact that it was not at all what I expected gives me a thumbs up on it. It's not for everyone though that's for sure. It's a roll of the dice as to if you will like it.

The Manchurian Candidate was pretty good. Kinda slow at some points, but worth seeing....and The Bourne Supremacy was also good, but the way they filmed the action scenes almost made me throw up. The camera was moving around waaaay to much.
