How do you justify the money you spend on steroids?
I'm asking this question broadly, as people of all ages/backgrounds have bills, mortgages, and debt. How do you convince yourself that the money you are spending is being put in the right place? What things propel you to spend it on your body as opposed to paying a bill, or paying back loans?
I'm sure everyone has their own reasons, so let's hear it.

First, I would never let a bill go unpaid simply because I wanted to buy juice. (This is for crackheads IMO)
I never really thought about a justification though. I guess I consider it something I buy for myself and myself alone. I don't usually spend a lot of money on myself. My wife spends plenty.

burden.

I'm not talking about "One bottle of prop vs. My heating bill", I'm talking about paying back stuff. CC bills, loans, hell you can advance on your mortgage instead of dropping a K on a cycle. What is it about it that propels you?

The cost is small comparable to a lot of my friends hobbies. I look at it as an investment, in that I'm going to reach my physical goals faster. Time = supplements, etc. Kinda crazy maybe, but I've always thought of it as a time saving thing because you can recover quicker, therefore train more often.

It's disposable income. I'd blow it on something. Might as well blow it on getting huge.

I am pretty cheap on buying stuff for myself 1-2 pairs of shoes a yr, I'm no a clothes horse, don't drink or go to clubs, I'm pretty cheap when it comes to myself. This is something I do for me. I could go buy clothes or cds or crap like that but this is what really makes me happy and healthier. I'm on HRT (plus!) so I need the juice anyway to a certain degree to maintain a normal level anyway.
All the bills are paid, less than $500.00 in credit card bills, one car loan pmt like 280.00 and my mtg. The kids and wife pretty much get whatever they need as Diesel said "my wife takes care of that!" I make it she spends it. Until this I never really spent any money on anything.
And besides... I'M WORTH IT **** IT!

I look at this way........I'm kind of old (38)...I have all the kids I want (2) (1 boy, 1 girl)
I don't drink (maybe a couple beers once a week) my bills are paid and my kids are well
cared for...the money is "extra" ....not really needed for anything.....I don't cheat on
my wife.....so if the only thing I do is AS then it's really not that bad.....ya know?!?!?
