    Seven Days in May

B & W Made in 1963 starring Burt Lancaster as Joint Chiefs of Staff, General James Matoon Scott, Kirk Douglas as his aide-de-camp Col. Jiggs McDonald, and Frederic March as The President of the US. Also Ava Gardner, Edward Andrews, and a cast of very well known character actors whose names I don't know, but faces are recognizeable. Also noted for being the screen debut of John Houseman, as a Navy Admiral.

    Premise:

General Scott is unhappy with a treaty that the Presdient has signed with the Soviet Union, in which he thinks the US will be vunerable to Soviet attacks. He secretly plans a takeover of the US Government.

Great acting and a GREAT SCRIPT, written by The TWILIGHT ZONE's own Rod Serling........riviting movie.

This movie is a MUST SEE and is on TONIGHT (Wednesday March 6th at 8pm EST) on Turner Classic Movies. PLEASE Watch if you can !!!!!!
