You have to remember we're not dealing with the civilian court, we're dealing with the military courts. That's the difference, what they'll do is kick him out with a less than honorable discharge plus expulsion from the academy.
I knew guys when I was in that were popped on piss test they got a months restriction plus the boot! curious to see how it plays out...
I new a marine who got popped at pendelton with like 25k worth the gear, he was peddling it to the jar heads...he got popped comming across the border. He got the double wammy with civilian charges plus military punishment.
