Sigh....i wasn't going to read this thread, but i did...errrrr

Anyway, i'll get what i believe out of the way. I believe we go back to the earthPeriod.

I have to comment on some of the posts though....If ur a religious person and u believe this and that why is everyone else condemned simply because we don't believe in what u do...?

That always bothered me about really religious people, and im talking about any religion here. Why cant it be u believe in what u believe in and others can believe in what they believe in and thats it..? No ones condemning anyone and if u believe ur going to heaven when u die then that's great for u and if others don't then that's great for them.

Can someone give me a good, but logical answer please.? Because in my mind there isn't one.

One last thing...Please don't take my comments as being anti-religion or anything like that. I think religion is a good thing if that's what u need/want in ur life. Keywords are: what u need/want in ur life.....thxs!

No there isn't. You can proove that a human wrote it down, that's it. You can't prove to me that a bunch of guys were being told by god what to write down.

I am in no way putting down religion, I don't belong to any specific one. I see no point. They all teach you the same things, be a good person. I believe in that. So if there is a god, that is all that should matter, but at the moment I don't believe.

Well we can either sit here and discuss this for evermore or we can all educate ourselves, including me. I do not know it all. But I do believe in GOD, Jesus Christ, and his atonement and saving us from our sins.

I also know the following.

I do know that Jesus Christ lived and died on this earth. I do know that he had a profound change on the lives of many with him then and people now. I know with an absolute certainty that he has created a change in human history and future. I do know that I once did not believe in GOD and I had nothing but grief in my life. I now do believe in God and since that change, my life has had too many blessings to even count. Just when I thought that all our Heavenly Father has done for me is over, I recieve more out of nowhere. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that when I gave my life to him and did what is right and followed his teachings I became whole and I was finally happy and fullfilled for the first time in my life. I do know that once I did all this my every prayer was answered and I became wiser. I do know that I will be saved when I die.

2 years ago I could not say these things because I did not believe. I was living a pretty crazy life. In fact just look at my avatar and read my profile to see the life I led. I have never changed it. I will soon though. I enjoyed many things including thousands of women and every scene imaginable and yet I was never truly happy. Something was missing.

You can doubt GOD all you want, like I did, but you can only see the truth when you give it a chance, and truly believe, and do what is right. If you accept Jesus and his teaching and walk the right path you will see a change in your life. It can not be a pretend thing. You must truly humble yourself and take a real look and investigate with your heart, mind, and soul to understand. If you read the Bible you will see that something written 2000 years ago will speak to you like it was written just for you. Man can not do this unless it was of GOD.

It is not for everyone and it says so in the Bible, but it is something I can no longer deny, even more so than believe in. This is why I believe without a doubt in my mind, heart, or soul. It is beyond anything I have ever experienced or ever thought possible. THIS is the power of GOD.

I am not going to argue the point, defend my beliefs, or try to convert anyone. I only wish to say how I feel and what my experience was and is like. You can do with it what you want as we have all been given free will to make our own choices. I am not GOD and I am no one to judge anyone. It is beyond my authority and I am still human and make mistakes like all of you. GOD Bless you all, even those who do not believe in him, as GOD loves you too, and I pray this all makes sense to you.

Just a question to those who do not believe. When you are hit with an emotionally devastating news or feel true fear at one of many life situations, what do you say, what do you think, and who's name do you call and ask for help?

i have attached a copy of the lesson for those that care to read it.
