    How much will my sweat pants shrink?

    On the reccomendation of a freind, I bought XL sweat pants today. Yes, they are way to big for me, but I was told they would shrink tons, to the point that they would actually be semi-comfortable and woult fit me.....well, it turns out they are only 50% cotten and %50 polyester, so I don't know........Will my sweats shrink a lot? If not, then I need to just take them back and buy new ones.......
