    just got a tat on my arm covers most of it... think ill be good to workout on monday without covering it??

    im sleeved to my wrist and never had any problems with infection while healing and i never covered it whith any thing. gyms are full of thousands of peoples nasties and germs are more so there than almost anywhere else. so bring a towel cover the benches and just try to keep you fresh tat from touching any of the equipment. take a shower before and after your workouts and use antibactirial soap .. you should be fine. by the way ,sick f*ckin tat bro.

    keep it covered with something that breathes...if you had gotten sleeved, I was goiong to suggest no preacher curls or pec deck for a few more days....nice looking work.....if you don't mind me asking, how many $$ ?

    Fark man that is an awsome tatt. I have a big arm band which cost as much as that that I had done in Singapore. Mine took two hours and that hurt like a mofo towards the end, four hours is S&M stuff.. LMAO

    You could use an anitbacterial cream like bepanthen which is for nappy rash on babies, it is antibacterial and is very gentle on the tattoo. Covering it up to tightly while exercising will dry out the tatto and cause 'cracks' throughout the design. I would use the cream and a really loose cotton shirt. My upper arms are tattooed, I didn't really look after the design on my left arm and it had to be re inked which is a pain in the ass.

    design lookes very cool.

    4hrs! You are a braver man than I.

    I got my leg done from the knee to the ankle, took about 6hrs total but I'm obviously a pussy cos that was over 4 sits.

    Oh, and as far as covering it goes - I wouldn't, it will heal alot better with air getting to it.
