Doctor said I have a partial tear

I had this swelling at the end of my tricep and it was kinda sore. That was 5 days ago, now it's gone. I went to my family doctor for a sore throwt and had him look at it while i was there. He said it was just strained.
The other doctor, the specialist, said that since there was swelling that it was a minor partial tear and that I should take a few weeks of and go to this therapist a few times. He said since it had swelling, that there was definetly some tearing.

Im loading the glucosamine chrodroiten,omega-3's and MSM big time. I also increased my protein. I don't know if that'll make a difference but it does not hurt anymore and you can't even tell anything was there.
    Anybody else have this happen?
