Adobe Premier, anyone good at video editing?

Hey guys,

Got myself a digital camcorder, it didnt come with any software to edit etc. I got hold of a copy of Adobe Premier as this was suggested to me, and is apparently very good?

Its quite hard to use. Anyone here to editing? If so what do you use? And do you have any tips or any help with Premier?

what kind of editing ?? your basic frame splitting ?? or actually adding text to frames, etc...

i didnt get anywhere lol. i downloaded video studio 8, alot easier. im sure premier is better but im havin a hard time working it out
