Spring Break!!
I know to some of you, Spring Break is just another week...but, for ME - and other parents and students - it's a holiday!
I have taken Thursday and Friday off of work and plan on enjoying my 4 day weekend! The weather's getting warmer here and I love it!
Are any of you taking a vacation anytime in the near future? If so, where are you going??
I'm going to take a REAL vacation pretty soon. I have come into 2 airline tickets to any place in the Continental US - any suggestions where I should go?? NO PLACE COLD!

Leaving for Scottsdale, AZ on April 4 for a long weekend. Hmmmmm, probably can squeeze another one in somewhere. Maybe Houston to hang with some AR members.
Hope you get to make it out to Houston! It's really neat to meet other AR members in person!

My vacation time this summer will be long weekends and maybe a week straight a couple of times. I actually rented a house on the beach with some girls I used to work with from Memeorial Day weekend through September 10. I live about 3 hours from the beach so I will try to get down there (Dewey Beach, Deleware) as much as possible.
I love Arizona. Some good friends out there I have not seen in a while near Scottsdale (Cave Creek). Hope to squeze that in to. Last time at the grand canyon they were doing a controlled burn that filled the whole thing up with smoke :-( , love the jeep tours in sedona. If you really want a long trip head out to monument valley, where they make all those jeep commercials.

Well, ok - since I haven't been to too many places in the US - I've narrowed it down to the most popular spots....
I was thinking - NYC or
San Fran then driving to Lake Tahoe or
Los Angeles or
the white sand beaches on the panhandle of FL .......
I kinda like the Tahoe idea...... of course, San Fran then driving up the coast to Napa Valley....

Spend some time in Miami, then take a few days and drive down to the Keys.
As for Arizona....Oh i loved it there. Had one hell of a Spring Break a few years ago by going from Phoenix to Puerto Penaso (Rocky Point), Mexico. About a 4 hours drive.
Of course for Arizona, there's always Lake Havasu

Atlantis Resort
Hands down the best...Trust me ! I've been on cruises and been to resorts and nothing can compare to Atlantis Resort. Nothing ! You never have to leave the resort. It's huge ! Make sure you stay in the main building. It's more money and Atlantis is pricey but you will not regret it....We all work hard so enjoy it...... It's the best and if you don't think so I will refund your money !!!! The best part un-like Vegas, They don't charge you a dime to use their gym and it's pretty good for a resort. Gambling as well......Right on the beach they have tents with the breeze from the ocean blowing through and that is the best place to get a massage........It's heaven !!!!!!
Let me know what you decide on !

Come to Miami
I love it here, if you are interested I could give you a list of really nice places to stay, eat, drink, and party all night. It's got a great night life, specially around the time you are coming down.

I recently had someone visit me from out of town, Kansas to be exact. I had told him we would go clubbing on Friday night. He got nervous about 9pm because we weren't getting ready to go out and party, and I told him not to worry but we would leave around 11pm. He looked at me like I was crazy. We left at 11:15pm and got to the club at 11:30pm and he was thinking the place would close at 12am. It amazed him when we finally left at 2am, that people were still coming in the door. Most clubs in Miami close at 5am and some only open at 5am and close at 5pm. You can literally party 24 hours a day between South Beach & the Coconut Grove, if you wish.

Well I am stayin home for spring break but week after, I am headed to Destin/Fort Walton for a "business" fishing trip and taking a duely deserved company vacation.. if you will. I figured I would wait till all the wild azz college kids, do all their partin, cause lawd knows, I would get my old ass in trouble, (cause I could pass for a college kid).
Sooooo anyone wants to join with us on the boat, let me know.. we got plenty of room..

Come down to Miami....I just got back from New York and Connecticut and I knew I was back in heaven. We are in the 80s here, no rain, emerald skies- just beautiful. I am leaving to Las Vegas soon, and am off to Europe for a month in July- ought to be an interesting trip. I don't like being away from home for more than a week or I start twitching.
If you come to Miami, and need some ideas on where to go, just pm me and i'll be glad to let ya know.
