Maximizing IE window

I adjust my IE window to look maximized...then sometime down the road it goes back to half window. Is there a way I can make sure every window that opens in IE is maximized. This is starting to piss me off.

i think if you hold shift while closing a window it will keep the maximized setting. that also goes for multiple windows.

its annoying i heard of a way to start it at a set size but i'll be dammed if i can remember it

when its in half mode, drag it to the top and use the bottom right corner to extend the browser to the full size of the screen... this way when it bumps into half open mode, it will be set to be pretty much full screen.

Oh yeah... close it once while it's dragged to full screen... that will set the size in memory...
