How to get started on the stock market for a 19 year old canadian?!?
Hey bros,
Im just finishing up highschool this semester and and going into business at university next year. I'm really interested in spending this "free" semester i have on investing in some stocks but the problem is I have no idea how to get started. Which websites are good to check out, how do i "buy" and " sell"... anyone care to help this youngster make some coin? hahaha thanks guys.

save your money. stocks dont pay off, look at martha stewart. you are better off investing your money in other ways. i lost more money on the BS stock market.

Book: Wall Street Journal's Guide to Money and Investing
Watch CNBC during the week and Fox New Saturday mornings 10-12 EST.

Some good books to get you started, any book on jessie livermore...Im not sure what the name of the one i read was, but thats a great book. By far the best book i have read is Profitable Cadlestick Trading by stephen W. Bigalow. If u really wanna get serious about investing and get into the market I have all kinds of info bro..

Are u trying to day trade(not for newbies), swing trade(what i would recomend) or go long.
Are you gonna to be using techs. or fundamentals.

Its a news/financial site, not a trading site but very informative.
Check out this book also "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" Great series.
